Michael came away with a first prize victory last Saturday at one of the most important tournaments of the season. Regionals were held at Deforest this year and although he had faced many of the same opponents throughout the season he proved that even when they had the chance to defeat him, they could not. He placed second the previous weekend at Conference which helped the team secure third place. He said he was tired of getting silver and it was time for the gold. I love how he sets the goals and achieves them. This coming Saturday will be the deciding factor if he should advance to State. With new opponents and the high pressure he needs his mind on the mat. His heart is in it to win it, its his time!! thanks for reading xoxo
