A couple of weekends ago Michael had a wrestling tournament to attend.  It was the Freestyle and Greco State tournament.  It started Saturday morning and ended Sunday afternoon.  It was my first time watching Michael wrestle this style.  I wasn't used to the style and it was a little difficult for me to keep up with how you score points and what moves are legal.  He did great with the Freestyle and earned 2nd place.  This gave him an invitation to go train in River Falls.  Should he do well there he could get invited to go to nationals in Florida.  He loves wrestling so much and wants to continue it.  The Greco competition proved a little more difficult for him and after a wonderful start he ended up not exactly where he wanted to be.  Now he is training for River Falls with a coach from Lodi who will help him get to the next level.  Michael graduates in a couple of weeks and things will be changing once again.  I look forward to his next step and can't wait to cheer him on when he takes it to the mat.  thanks for reading xoxo
